I found this list of 21 questions to ask your kids on another blog. Below are the questions and the answers Tilly gave at 4 years 2 months (questions in bold, Tilly’s answers are plain and my comments are in italics):
- What is something Mummy always says to you? Be good or stuff.
- What makes Mummy happy? Me being good.
- What makes Mummy sad? Me not being good. (a bit of a theme going on here…)
- How does Mummy make you laugh? Being silly.
- What was Mummy like as a child? Don’t like slow reading – Nana told me that.
- How old is Mummy? 18
- How tall is Mummy? Very tall.
- What is Mummy’s favourite thing to do? You like to do sitting down and having quiet and not having in trouble.
- What does Mummy do when you’re not around? Watch TV.
- If Mummy becomes famous what will it be for? Money.
- What is Mummy really good at? Looking after children. (warms the cockles)
- What is Mummy not very good at? Meetings. (she wasn’t very clear on this one)
- What does Mummy do for her job? You do painting. (sounds fun)
- What is Mummy’s favourite food? Lasagne.
- What makes you proud of Mummy? Having sweeties.
- If Mummy was a cartoon character who would she be? You would be guess and Jess. (Jess from Guess with Jess – guess what was on TV at the time)
- What do you and Mummy do together? We look after Eli.
- How are you and Mummy the same? We’re not the same.
- How are you and Mummy different? Because we were born different.
- How do you know Mummy loves you? Because you really love me, you don’t love Daddy only sometimes. (apparently I only really love her)
- Where is Mummy’s favourite place to go? London.
